Tall Tales and Murder

10.40pm, BBC One This breezy Irish crime caper is directed by Chris Addison and stars the excellent Ella Lily Hyland as Bridget, a kindly nurse with a secret drug habit, a taste for folk horror stories and a willingness to dispatch suffering patients. When patient Grinner (Aidan Gillen) wakes from a coma and reveals himself to be a gangster with a hoard of buried treasure, Bridget spies an opportunity. Twisty fun with an edge of danger.
