On the podcast today: defeat for Liverpool in Turkey with Dirk Kuyt’s Fenerbache winning by the odd goal in five. Manchester City are tested by RB Leipzig but the game was ultimately settled by a beautiful sweeping move finished off by Erling Haaland.

Elsewhere, Arsenal win 2-1 in Prague, a third away game in seven days and they looked tired. Real Madrid find a way (don’t they always) in Athens and Como score nine at Lens.
