Cricket Writers' Awards for Robinson, Sharma & Bamber

Fast bowlers dominated at the annual Cricket Writers' Club awards as Ollie Robinson and two other England aspirants, Naavya Sharma and Ethan Bamber, were among the prize winners.
Robinson, 32, was named England's cricketer of the year following his remarkable return to Test cricket this summer after two years out in the cold.
The Sussex paceman took 28 wickets in four Tests at an average of just 9.30, lifting him into the International Cricket Council Test bowling rankings top five. He becomes the fifth winner of the Bob Willis Trophy since it was reallocated in 2022.
Warwickshire spearhead Bamber, 27, who took 69 wickets in 16 matches in the Bears' stunning ninth title triumph, was the County Championship player of the year.
