Accused double murderer gives evidence in high-profile case – as it happened

The court has adjourned for the day. Here are some of the key moments from Lamarre-Condon’s evidence today.
He alleged his experiences at work made him feel suicidal and his voice wavered as he spoke of the situation.
Lamarre-Condon said he read messages on Baird’s phone and accessed it while he was in the shower. He also told the court he looked through the device while Baird was sleeping and was chased out of Baird’s home.
That’s where we’ll leave our coverage for today. The trial will continue tomorrow morning.
Lamarre-Condon has told the court about an occasion when he attended the home of his friend – known to the court under the pseudonym Fiona Rosso.
